This is where it all started obviously... a texture I got from Prague '09...
I then converted it into my own texture and adapted it to suit my UVs... I'm just practising to see if I can get that worn down and scratched look.... 
These next three are development and are the first attempts. Wasn't feeling the static grey on the handle...so I CHANGED it...what a rebel I am huh?.... YEAH you like that DONT you....I think I've been blogging for too long now.... eugh
.... Brainwave.... or more like an idea - how about just using that kind of scratch as a bump and leave the texture plain... with minimal alterations?.... theres an idea.
